The No. 6 seeded Blooming Prairie volleyball team knocked off No. 11 seeded Southland by scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-13 in a Section 1A West tournament match in BP Monday.

Julia Worke put down 17 kills in the win for BP (11-14 overall) and Heather Pirkl had 37 set assists.

Southland (3-23 overall) was led by Kendra Emanuel, who had six kills.

The Awesome Blossoms will play No. 3 Faribault Bethlehem Academy in Faribault at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
