On Nov. 16-17, Pacelli High School Drama will present a family three-act comedy “Go, Ginger, Go” in Pacelli Auditorium. Both shows have a curtain time of 7:30 p.m. There will be short intermissions between acts.
Tickets for this entertaining evening of fun are $5 for adults, $3 for students and $20 for families.
The play concerns the Carrol family (dad Howard, mom Agnus, and their three teen-aged daughters: Joan, Jeannie and Virginia). Howard has been musing lately about his desire to watch the high school football team, but alas, no son to participate. Youngest daughter Virginia takes it upon herself to make Dad’s dream come true and goes out for the team. Mayhem ensues.
Howard’s bank president boss is not happy. The other Carrol daughters are not happy. Boyfriends are not happy. Pretty much no one is happy except Howard. And the season goes on.
Pacelli actors include Trace Fishbaugher, Myra Kraemer, Abigail Bollingberg, Madi Rysavy, Kayla Christopherson, Lynsey McMahon, Mason Holtorf, Jayden Lewis, Rachel Nelsen and Ed Dryer. Set crew includes Lucy Nelson, Allison Srp, Hailee Schaefer, Avari Drennan and Pal Koak. The play is directed by Tim Brennan.
Pacelli Drama welcomes you in advance to come and enjoy an evening of fine theatre. Dramatics continues to be a valued part of Pacelli’s extra-curricular offering through fall and spring productions, as well as an entry in Minnesota State High School League winter one act play competition. Pacelli’s stage area offers comfortable seating, great acoustics and easy sight lines.
Come and join us. Bring a friend. Bring grandparents. Bring laughter. Oh, and keep an eye out for the Big Game during the play. You might be surprised by what happens at the end.
