Woodstock teen reported missing since Friday evening in Austin; Last seen near Gerard Academy, Nature Center

Police are looking for information that could help find a teenage girl who was reported missing Friday evening.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, Gracie Schlomann, 16, originally from Woodstock, was last seen by Gerard Academy staff at 7:36 p.m. Friday in the wooded area near Gerard Academy and the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center.

Schlomann’s father told police that she has gone missing before, but for no more than a few hours before contacting someone. According to Krueger, her father said being missing this long was “out of character.”

Schlomann is described as a black female standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 197 pounds. She was last seen wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, black leggings, and black and white Jordan shoes. Her father said she is known to frequent churches. Krueger said police have been searching churches in the area.
