Beverly A. Jimenez, 80, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin.

She was born May 22, 1938, in Houston County, Minnesota, to Harold and Malpha (Harstad) Johnson. A 1956 graduate of Austin High School, Beverly worked as a secretary for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing needlework, reading, and playing word-find games. She treasured the time spent with her family. They will miss her dearly.

Survivors include her children, Kathryn (John) Martin and Kevin (Cindi) Johnson, both of Austin; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Ardis Horihan of Rochester, Minnesota; and many nieces, other relatives, and friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Maltha Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Spring Grove, Minnesota. Memorials can be directed to recipient of donor’s choice.
