The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team beat Southland (1-7 overall) 53-43 in Adams Tuesday.

The Awesome Blossoms (4-1 overall) jumped out to an 11-0 lead, but the Rebels were able to get as close as two points down the stretch.

“We just can’t seem to get over the hump,” Southland head coach Dean Bendtsen said. “We keep digging ourselves in holes and clawing back.”
