The youth and staff at Gerard Academy would sincerely like to thank the Austin Area Foundation for their generous grant of $1000 to be used toward art education provided by the Austin Area Commission for the Arts.

Grants such as this provide opportunities for our youth to participate in community activities that they may not normally have. These new positive experiences are all part of the healing process for the youth in Gerard Academy’s care.

We are very fortunate to be a part of a community that values the arts and the positive impact that it has on youth.
