Bobby Paul Khaoone, 30, of Austin was sentenced on Friday in Mower County District Court to 25 years of probation for felony second-degree drugs-possession of 25 grams or more of cocaine or methamphetamine.

Judge Jeffrey Kritzer issued the sentence.

Department of Corrections agents arrested Khaoone on March 27 in a garage in the 2000 block of Third Avenue Northeast.

Court documents state agents saw a meth tube in a drawer, prompting law enforcement to obtain a search warrant. The garage was set up as a makeshift apartment and law enforcement found three bags containing methamphetamine in a drawer under a coffee table in the middle of the room. The methamphetamine weighed a total of 41.74 grams.

A bag, including two scales, smaller bags for packaging, a meth pipe and a tube with meth residue were also found, according to court documents.

A review of Khaoone’s criminal record shows prior convictions for drug possession.

In addition to probation, Khaoone must follow 22 conditions, perform 100 hours of community service and pay $135 in fees. Failure to follow the conditions could result in a 68-month sentence in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud.
