Packer swimmers advance to state finals in six events

The Austin boys swimming and diving team had a big day at the Minnesota Class A State Meet preliminaries in the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis Friday.
The Packers qualified for championship finals in six different events and the 200-yard individual medley relay team of Trey Myers, Logan Kelly, Rafe Dolan Peterson and Aaron Knoll took third. Kelly took third in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The Minnesota Class A finals will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday.
