Girls basketball: Packers end their time at state with consolation loss; Austin drops five-point game to Marshall

The Austin girls basketball team had its season come to an end when it lost 49-44 to Marshall (22-8 overall) in a Minnesota Class AAA Girls Basketball Tournament consolation game at Concordia-St. Paul Thursday.
The loss comes a day after the Packers lost to Robbinsdale Cooper in the quarterfinals, which was defeated by Becker 68-66 in the semifinals Thursday.
Erica Lundberg had nine points and five rebounds for the Packers (20-10 overall).
