The Blooming Prairie baseball team opened its season with an 11-3 win over Janseville-Waldorf-Pemberton in BP Friday.

The Awesome Blossoms (1-0 overall) racked up 10 hits in the win and they scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break things open.
