The Mower County Humane Society would like to thank the Austin Veterinary Clinic and all who brought in cats to be spayed or neutered  during the Ruth Wunderlich Feline Spay/Neuter Clinic last month. We had  123 females and 103 males spayed and neutered during this event which  roughly translates, into 1,125 fewer unwanted kittens in Mower County!

For those who missed the event, the Mower County Humane Society is  sponsoring four more low cost spay/neuter clinics for cats, dogs and rabbits.  These will be conducted with MNSNAP and be held at the Mower County Humane Society on May 10, July 5, Sept. 13, and Nov. 8.  To register, you must go to MNSNAP.org and sign up. The Mower County Humane Society does not do the registration of pets for this event.

Please help reduce the numbers of unwanted cats and dogs in our community by being responsible and spaying or neutering.
