Kids ages 7-14 will be able to test their skills of pitching, hitting, and running on the baseball diamond with the Pitch, Hit and Run contest at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, at Todd Park, put on by the Austin Jaycees.

Those who score well will move on to sectionals and possibly up to the championships at Target Field in Minneapolis. A valid birth certificate is required for registration.

On Saturday, May 18, the group will hold its annual Sandbox Fill. Prices are $8 for one wheelbarrow load or $15 for two loads. Orders may be placed by calling 507-440-6147 or visiting www.austinjaycees.tk. Orders must be placed by May 15.
