A St. Ansgar woman received non-life threatening injuries after rear-ending a tractor pulling a grain wagon Thursday morning in Lyle Township.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol accident report, Michelle Lee Allen, 42, was driving northbound on Highway 218 in a 2010 Cadillac SRX when she struck the back of a 1983 Allis-Chalmers 8070 tractor, also heading northbound, pulling a grain wagon.

The Lyle Police Department and Mower County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

Allen was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the tractor, Kevin Dean Klouse, 38, of Rose Creek was uninjured.
