The Hayfield softball team was able to hold off Bryon (4-6 overall) by a score of 5-3 on the road Thursday.

Caitlyn Hendrickson struck out three batters in a row to end the game when the Bears had runners on first and second. Hendrickson struck out 11 in the win.

Courtney Ellis had a double and an RBI for the Vikings (8-5 overall).
