As we turn the calendar page to May, we will soon draw near to the end of another school year.

District staff have begun preparing for the 2019-20 school year and Austin Public School students currently enrolled in grades pre-k through 11 will be receiving an important mailing regarding 2019-20 registration the week of July 22 – July 26.

This registration mailing will include forms for family/student information, computer acceptable use, health plans, food service benefits, picture packets and more.  It will be important to review these documents and have them completed prior to your scheduled mass registration date/time listed below.

Mass registration for traditional calendar students will be held on Aug. 7 and 8 at Austin High School. Parents and students may enter through doors 7 and 13.

Registration schedules will be as follows:

Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 is designated for families with:

• Last names S – Z from 12:30–4 p.m.
• Last names M – R from 4–7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 is designated for families with:

• Last names F – L from 8:30 a.m. to noon
• Last names A – E from noon to 3:30 p.m.

Again this year, if families desire additional support (including language translation) getting their paperwork completed, APS representatives will be available at the Austin Public Library for assistance on Aug. 5 from noon to 6 p.m. for traditional calendar students.
