The Austin WorkForce Center has announced a change of name as part of a transition for Minnesota’s entire workforce system. The organization is now called CareerForce.

The move to unify multiple entities will enhance customer service and improve outcomes for career seekers, employers, communities and Minnesota.

The public is invited to an open house from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Sept. 19 at CareerForce (1600 Eighth Ave. NW). It will be a chance to meet local career seekers and employers who can share their success stories and learn about the resources available through CareerForce.
