An Austin man who allegedly had drugs and firearms at his Austin residence made his first appearance on Thursday in Mower County District Court.

Levi Willis Wollschlager, 21, of Austin was charged with felony fourth-degree drugs-possess 10 or more dosage units of hallucinogen, three counts of felony fifth-degree drug possession, felony possess firearm with altered serial number, gross misdemeanor user of controlled substance in possession of firearms and gross misdemeanor user of controlled substance in possession of firearm ammunition.

A second man who allegedly had drugs at the residence, Abraham Dario Cervantes-Paz, 20, of Austin, was charged with two counts of felony fifth-degree drug possession.

According to the court complaint, police executed a search warrant on Tuesday at Wollschlager’s residence in the 300 block of Seventh Street Northwest. Inside, police located and seized the following:

• A large jar containing 295.5 grams of marijuana;
• 9.5 alprazolam pills (a schedule IV controlled substance);
• $1,947 in cash;
• Taurus 9mm pistol;
• Taurus .38 Special pistol;
• Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol;
• Remington 12-gauge shotgun;
• Benelli 12-gauge shotgun with partially removed serial number;
• Approximately 500 rounds of pistol ammunition;
• 3.95 grams of MDMA (a schedule I hallucinogen); and
• 55 capsules containing MDMA.

Wollschlager said he had purchased the drugs on the “dark web” and also admitted to selling MDMA and alprazolam.

Wollschlager pointed out a red bag that he said contained items belonging to Cervantes-Paz, who was in the Mower County Jail after being arrested on Saturday for a probation violation. The bag contained 370.5 grams of marijuana, 82 alprazolam pills and $794 in cash.

A review of Cervantes-Paz’s criminal record shows he is awaiting disposition on charges of felony second-degree assault-dangerous weapon, felony terroristic threats and misdemeanor domestic assault.

Wollschlager and Cervantes-Paz will appear in court again on Nov. 7.
