The Riverland Community College men’s basketball flew past Luther JV 96-62 in Riverland Gym Friday night.

Sophomore Terrell Smith poured in 37 points in 27 minutes to lead the way for the Blue Devils (2-0 overall).

“We had a lot really athletic plays at the rim tonight,” RCC head coach Derek Hahn said. “We have a lot of things going well on our end, our gym was electric tonight and our guys really feed off the crowd.”

Tate Hebrink had eight assists and three steals for RCC and Ibrahim Mohammad had four points, four rebounds and six blocks.
