Y’s Women met Nov. 14, at the Hormel Historic Home with 17 members present. Nancy Schnable, executive director of Discover Austin was the program speaker. She told of the many attractions in Austin that we are fortunate to have, including the new rec center, bike trails, the nature center, the Spam Museum and the Hormel Home.

Plans for the luncheon card party sponsored by the Y’s Women on Nov. 21 were discussed.

Hostesses were Jane Helfrich, Donna Maas and Karen Schaub.

The next meeting will be a Christmas party with an hors d’oeuvres potluck at 5 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the HHH. We’ll have a gift exchange and we’ll also give a donation to Hy-Vee for the Hy-Vee holiday dinners.
