Janet A. Sayles, 78

Janet A. Sayles, 78, of Johnsburg, Ill., died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at her home following a long illness.

She was born April 8, 1925, in Richmond, Mich., to Joseph and Helen (Waterloo) Walker.

On May 12, 1946, she married Paul L. Sayles in Chicago.

Survivors include her husband, Paul; daughters, Kathy Blake of Johnsburg, Ill.; Sue (Mark) Brown, Garland, Texas; sons, Steve (Lynn) Sayles, Richfield; Jerry Sayles, Dallas, Texas; Larry (Terry) Sayles, Irving, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tom Sayles; and sisters, Mary Weyland and Patricia Lindberg.

Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2003, at the funeral home.

Memorial Service: 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Nicolle Grasse officiating.
