It’s only been seven days since the Blooming Prairie football team played in the Prep Bowl, but a few of those players were already making their season debut in basketball as the Awesome Blossoms beat Faribault Bethlehem Academy 73-40 in Faribault Friday.
“Coming of the Prep Bowl Championship, I wasn’t sure how our guys would respond with the bulk of them being heavy contributors in the game played just last week,” BP head coach Nate Miller said. “We were able to rely on good defense and sure ball handling to build an early lead.”
