To get ready for its 150th anniversary celebration in June, Lyle is hosting a pancake breakfast and bake sale Saturday, Dec. 14, from 8 – 10 a.m.

The event will be hosted at the Lyle American Legion.

During the event, entitled ‘Cakes with Claus,’ visitors can enjoy a pancake breakfast while children meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.

People are invited to bring their cameras so they can get a photo with Jolly Old St. Nicholas and the first 100 children to arrive will get a special gift.

Horse N’ Around will be at the event to provide sleigh rides.

Visitors are also invited to stop by the holiday bake sale at the event to stock up on goodies.

Freewill donations from the event will go toward the 150th Anniversary Street Dance, June 27.
