The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team beat Medford (10-3 overall, 5-2 Gopher) 49-41 in BP Tuesday.

The Awesome Blossoms (11-2 overall, 5-1 Gopher) clamped down on defense and held the Tigers to 11 points in the second half.
