Austin’s Norton advances to state diving finals

Austin senior Riley Norton is sitting in ninth place in diving after the Minnesota Class A preliminaries wrapped up at Jean K Freeman Pool in Minneapolis Thursday.
Norton has a score of 238.75 and will dive in Saturday’s finals.
Storm Opdahl of Chisago Lakes leads the field with a 331.30.
