Bryan James Cook Hollenbach, 26, of Kasson was charged with felony third-degree drugs – sale of a narcotic drug – on Tuesday in Mower County District Court.
According to the court complaint, Mower County detectives met with a confidential reliable informant (CRI) on Sept. 4 about purchasing methamphetamine from Hollenbach. The CRI said he had been in communication with Hollenbach about purchasing methamphetamine.
The CRI and his vehicle were searched and he was provided with purchase money and an audio transmitter. He was then monitored as he met with Hollenbach at a location in Austin. The CRI then met the detectives at a predetermined location in Austin and surrendered 0.22 grams of methamphetamine. He confirmed Hollenbach sold him the drugs.
A warrant was later issued for Hollenbach’s arrest.
A review of Hollenbach’s criminal history shows prior convictions for burglary and drug possession.
