All the finalists who were chosen for the Austin Artist of the Year should be proud of their accomplishments.

The annual award was given out during a Friday assembly at Austin High School.

Normally, art wouldn't be such a big deal at such institutions. But AHS has talented students and also teachers like Bruce Loeschen who help students excel at whatever they're doing.

We applaud those students for their hard work and encourage them to continue following their dreams and using their creative skills to the best of their abilities.
