After completing Section 1AA sub-section Thursday, no Austin tennis players will be moving on to sectional play.

The Packers were in Group A with Rochester Mayo, Farmington, and Rosemount.

Singles players Dolan Wagner and Kyler Green both won their opening round matches, but were eliminated in the second.

Wagner posted a come-from-behind win over Farmington's Robert Brewer that went to a final-set tiebreaker. He then lost to eventual sub-section champ Andrew Schwartz of Mayo.

Green upended Josiah Hakala of Farmington 6-4, 6-2 in the opening round, but was ousted by Mayo's Phil Loprinzi.

In doubles play, both Packer teams were eliminated in the first round. Senior Tucker Schieck and Luke Green bowed out to a Mayo pair, as did Mike Binder and Andy Sundal.
