Hayfield snaps losing skid

The Hayfield baseball team (2-11 overall) snapped an 11-game losing skid when it rallied in the sixth to beat Kenyon/Wanamingo (2-7 overall) 6-5 on the road Monday.
Tyler Nelson knocked in a run with two outs in the sixth to make it 6-5 and Jared Ellis grounded into a run-scoring fielder’s choice to make it 5-5.
“At this point, we’re just trying to get some momentum going and we’ll take a win,” Hayfield head coach Craig Selk said.
