Fredrickson, a retired high school English teacher, has written ten children’s books since 2000 that portray the story of the family farm in 1950. Many of the stories are from the author’s own experiences growing up on a dairy farm in Scott County.

The Lunchbox History Series will take place the fourth Thursday of each month through August.

The public is invited to bring their own lunch and enjoy a presentation on various history subjects. The programs are free but donations are accepted. Join the Mower County Historical Society as we make your summer lunch break an educational experience.
