Charles F. Dotzenrod, 64

Charles F. Dotzenrod, 64, of Plymouth, Mass., died April 18, 2003, at the Jordan Hospital.

He was born Feb. 1, 1939, in Preston, to Virgil and Jeannette (Maxon) Dotzenrod. He was a graduate of Austin High School.

He was employed for most of his life by the Shaws Supermarket as a fork lift operator in the E'Bridgewater Warehouse. He retired in the fall of 2001. Following his retirement, he worked part-time at the Pine Hills Country Club. He moved to Plymouth over eight years ago from E'Bridgewater.

Charles was a member of the Teamsters Union and past Union Stewart. He also served on the negotiating committee for the Independent Food Handlers & Employees Union. He was a veteran of the US Navy.

He was an avid reader and his hobbies included traveling, watching football, spending time at the ocean and with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Dotzenrod, Plymouth, Mass; children, Glenn Dotzenrod, Plymouth, Mass.; Jason (Michelle) Dotzenrod, New Bedford, Mass.; Kim (William) Soell, Plymouth, Mass.; six grandchildren; brother and sisters, Darrel Dotzenrod, Virginia Milton and Eileen Lysne, all of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at the funeral home.

Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment: Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Mass.
