Local tennis teams still winless

Austin's No. 3 doubles team of Tyler Conway and Kyler Green again accounted for the Packers' only victory in a 6-1 Big Nine Conference boys' tennis loss to visiting Winona Thursday at Paulson Courts.
Green and Conway defeated Ryan Stoa and George Schwartz, 6-4, 7-6 (7-2).
All four singles went down in straight sets, while the Packers' No. 1 doubles team of Tucker Schieck and Andy Sundal won the opening set before falling in three, 1-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Austin plays Friday at Decorah, Iowa.

Lyle/Pacelli goes to 0-3
The Lyle/Pacelli boys' tennis team suffered another defeat Thursday, dropping a 5-2 decision to Shattuck-St. Mary's in Faribault.
The lone bright spot on the afternoon was Steven Mino's 6-4, 6-3 win in the No. 3 singles slot. Dallas Williamson also won his match by forfeit.
L/P, now 0-3 on the year, travels to take on Martin County West next Tuesday.
