Pacelli to perform ‘That’s a Wrap’

Pacelli middle and high school music students present “That’s a Wrap” Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre, 125 Fourth Ave. NE.

The spring concert is under the direction of music teacher Kelsey Korfhage.

“Many long hours of rehearsal have gone into this concert and the students are excited to perform,” she said.

The show includes songs from favorite movies.

The sixth through eighth grade Shamrock Singers will take the audience back to the 1930’s with “Wizard of Oz” favorites and then fast-forward to the 1960’s with tunes from “Forrest Gump.”

The high school Men’s Quartet will sing “Kiss the Girl” and the Women’s Quartet “For Good.”

Pacelli Singers, a high school group who boast a total of 16 members, will share the classic, “Joy to the World.”

The young women’s high school group, Lyrix, hopes to leave concert-goers star struck with renditions from “Fame.”

Finally, the Pacelli High School choir sings “The Prince of Egypt’s,” “When You Believe” before wrapping up with “Best Years of Our Lives.”

Admission is free and free-will donations will be accepted after the show. Doors open at 7 p.m.
