The Austin Bruins suffered a Thanksgiving downer as they lost to the North Iowa Bulls 5-3 in Riverside Arena Thursday night.

Alex Laurenza scored his eighth goal of the year to bring Austin within 4-3 in the third, but Blake Ulve clinched the win with an empty netter for the Bulls.

Matthew MacArthur stopped 20 shots in net for Austin.
