The Austin School Board held a study session on 11/27/23 in the District Office Conf Room, 401 Third Ave NW in Austin. Chair Green called meeting to order at 4:00 pm. Members present Kathy Green, Carolyn Dube, Cece Kroc, Carol McAlister, and Peggy Young. Don Leathers and Evan Sorenson absent.
Young/Kroc approval of agenda, 5-0
Reports presented on ACT, AHS course registration guide, World’s Best Workforce annual report, and Multi-tiered Systems of Supports.
First-readings of revised policies 413, 416, 506, 506-Form, 507, 515-Form, and 613 were presented.
Discussion held on Woodson Kindergarten Center renaming.
Kroc/Young to enter closed session at 5:38 for a Principals Assoc negotiations update, 5-0
Kroc/Dube to enter open session at 5:54 pm, 5-0
Young/McAlister to adjourn at 5:54 pm, 5-0
