Adair Sawyer, 83

Adair Louise Sawyer (Nee Rossman), passed away on June 13, 2024 in Shakopee, MN. at the age of 83. Adair was born on May 3, 1941 in Edina, MN. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Adair known to her loved ones as “Mom” was a dedicated homemaker before embarking on a career at Eldens Grocery Store and later at Hy-Vee grocery store in Austin, where she worked for 25 years.

In her free time, she enjoyed watching the Vikings and cherishing moments with her great-grandchildren.

Adair is survived by her sister Judy (Jim) Stone of Minong, WI; her son Jeffrey (Kathleen) Sawyer of Willmar MN. and daughter Debra Mischke, of New Market, MN., Grandchildren Ryan, Grace, Nathan, Linzey (Josh) Stocker and Miles, great-grandchildren, Raelyn, Huxley and Milo

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Emily Rossman, Husband Mervale Sawyer and son-in-law Scott Mischke.

A private ceremony will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery to honor and remember Adair’s life. White Funeral Home in Lakeville, MN. is assisting with arrangements.
