This past weekend was our annual one-day Mystery Trip, a trip that creates a lot of interest.
Lanesboro is a cyclist’s destination. It is a beautiful and hilly area to visit, located about one hour east of Austin.
Lunch was at the Peddle Pushers restaurant with a luncheon specially for our group. Following dinner we walked across the street to the Commonweal Theatre as they presented their opening show of “Rumors,” a Neil Simon production.
It was an outrageous farce, indeed.
Our afternoon stop, as we departed from the show, was another surprise to our guests.
We were in LeRoy and had a chance to visit a beautiful flower-garden farm. It’s summer time and the unique settings all around depicted farm life with its many displays.
It’s always fun to select another town and research what they all have to offer.
July 24: “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. This show is creating a great deal of interest as people are so familiar with her music. We will begin loading at 8:45 a.m. and depart at 9 a.m. All trips depart from the southwest Walmart parking lot.
Aug. 7: Second trip to “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.
Aug. 14: Minnesota Twins vs Kansas City Royals. We will depart at 8:45 a.m.
Aug. 26: Minnesota State Fair. The last day to pay is Aug. 12. Some seats are still available. We are happy to host a trip to this great state fair for Senior Day and includes tickets to the fair.
Leave the driving to one of our deluxe motorcoach drivers. We invite all ages to join us on this trip. Departure time is 7 a.m. We will arrive early and leave the fair at 3:30 p.m. and arrive back to Austin about 5:30 p.m.
Sept.17-20: Branson in the Ozarks.
