Meadow Greens-Ramsey Ladies Club holds “Lagging” play

Play-of-the-Day for the Meadow Greens–Ramsey Ladies Golf Club on Wednesday was “Lagging.” Members played a regular round of golf but awarded points to players closest to the pin once everyone was on the green. The player closest to the pin earned three points, second closest earned two points, and third closest earned one point (threesomes only scored points for closest and second closest).
Winners on the front nine with 23 points were Joy Blaser and Janice Perrigo, and Linda Youngmark with 20 points. On the back nine, Carmel Taylor scored a win with 23 points, Dianne Barrett with 22 points, and Susan Westland won with 21 points.
Chip-ins were made by Linda Youngmark on hole No. 4, and Pat Busker on hole No. 14. Karen Baier had a birdie on hole No. 6.
