Larry Gene Noble, Age 76, of Fridley, MN, passed away in the loving care of his family on Wednesday, September 18th after a valiant battle with stage 4 cancer.
Larry was born in a maternity home in Blooming Prairie, MN on October 8th, 1947 to Arthur & Wilma Noble. He grew up on the farm north of Corning where his grandfather settled and his father was born. He was baptized and confirmed at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church.
His education began at the nearby country school and continued through Austin High School where he graduated in 1965.
Larry received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, but quickly discovered that people (and not engineering) were his passion. This began a decades-long successful career in insurance sales.
He is survived by his 4 children: Sean (Carrie), Jason (Lanee), Dustin (Meghan), and Tiffany (Kevin), 3 step-children: Scott, Jennifer (Brett), and Daniel (Kristen), and many (many) grandchildren.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Arthur & Wilma Noble, his first wife Jayne Noble, and his second wife Kathy Mobley-Noble.
He was a wonderful father, son, brother, neighbor, golfing partner, and everyone’s friend, and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at Bunker Hills Golf Course on Sunday, October 6th. Doors open at 2:30 pm with the ceremony beginning at 3:00 pm. Come and bring your favorite Larry story to share!
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Minnesota 100 Club, an organization dedicated to supporting the families of fallen first responders.
