Registration deadline for newly visioned Karl’s Legacy is nearing this week.

Final registration for the event, which will take place 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Ray Live Learning Center at The Hormel Institute, is this Friday. Tickets can be purchased at https://karls-legacy.betterworld.org/events/karls-legacy.

Tickets are $100.

Doors for the event open at 5 p.m. with a social hour and cash bar prior to the program, which starts at 6 p.m.

The live auction will start at 6:45 p.m. with proceeds going toward pediatric cancer research.

For 27 years, the fundraiser was a golf tournament in memory of Karl Potach, who died as a result of Wilms’ Tumor in 1997.

So far, $1 million has been donated for research to The Hormel Institute, which has five sections so far researching children’s cancer.
