Linda L. Langstaff, 81

Linda Lee Langstaff, age 81, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at The Cedars of Austin. Linda was the second of five children born to Alfred and Alice Waller on July 11, 1943, in Austin, Minnesota. She spent most of her life in and around Austin. Linda graduated from Austin High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. Later in life, she attended Riverland Community College. Linda married Paul Langstaff and their union was blessed with three sons, Mark, Michael, and Matthew. Throughout her life, Linda worked in various roles including at George A. Hormel, St. Olaf Hospital, and Mower County Public Health. She had a profound love for animals and had many pets over the years, which brought her immense joy and comfort. Linda lived a happy, full life, always putting family first. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her son, Matthew (Terry) Langstaff; grandchildren, Mariel (Steve) Mandelko, Amanda (Dave) Lague, Tawni (Alan) Young, Cassie (Jessie) Earle, Kasey (Noah) Snater, Michelle (Deven) Leidall, Michael Jr. (Edixa) Langstaff, Jake Langstaff, and Jenna Langstaff; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Kamp, Diane (Al) Ungrecht, and Jackie Kramber; sister-in-law, Lillian Waller; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Alice Waller; grandparents, John and Betsy Waller, John and Emma Christiansen; two sons, Mark Langstaff and Michael Langstaff; brother, David Waller; brother-in-law, Rolland Kamp; aunts; uncles; cousins; and her friend, Grace.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Mapleview Community Center. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
