Zonta begins annual anti-violence campaign

The Zonta Club of Austin MN is once again participating in the Zonta Internationals 16 Days of Violence Against Women.
This falls each year from Nov. 16 through Dec. 10.
It is a difficult time to talk about violence, however, prior to the holidays can be a very difficult time for families. With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, money can be tight and kids want big item presents that may not be affordable for them. Tempers can flare and who knows what can happen?
There are currently signs around town in Austin that will be on display through Dec. 10 and downtown around the Justice Center the orange flags are once again flying high. Orange is the color for the Zonta Says No project.
