The Packers had four wrestlers go 2-0 as Austin lost to Northfield 52-20 and fell to Rochester Mayo 47-27 in a wrestling triangular in Ove Berven Gym Thursday.
Senior Joel Thawng improved his record to 9-0 at 107 pounds when he beat Ivy Bradenberg of Nortfhield 17-0 and he pinned Mayo’s Anders Lindell. Senior Sam Winkels improved to 13-0 at 285 when he won by forfeit against Northfield, before registering a 4-2 win over Mayo’s Caleb Loomis.
Cameron Riedl went 2-0 at 114 for Austin and Jaxon Learn was 2-0 with a pair of pins at 127.
