A free community meal celebrating Martin Luther King Day will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at Austin First United Methodist Church.

The meal is open to anyone and is sponsored by the City of Austin Human Rights Commission, the First United Methodist Church, the Austin Bruins and the B & J Restaurant. Soups from the B & J will be featured to warm everyone up.

The Next Chapter donated books about Martin Luther King Jr., so people of all ages are welcome to take a free book and learn more about the work of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King.
