Kenneth “Kenny” Mark Lewison, age 70, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2025 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester Minnesota.
Kenneth was born on September 5, 1954 at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin, Minnesota to Eugene and Barbara (Petersen) Lewison. He attended Adams High School and spent his career in the truck driving industry and later went on to be a motorcycle mechanic at Vern’s Bikes and Trikes in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. Kenny was known for his fun, loving, boisterous personality. He was very active in the motorcycle riding community where he made lots of friends and memories. He enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing with his family, road trips and he was an amazing cook. Kenny lived a life full of adventure, love and dedication to family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Barbara Lewison.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Diane Lewison (Hildestad) of Austin; daughter, Lisa Lewison of Austin; son, Trenton (Amy) Lewison of Elkton; five grandchildren: Wyatt, Jaiden, Garret, Madilynn, and Zack; eight siblings: William (Dianne) Lewison of Le Roy, Robert Lewison of Le Roy, Paul (Jean) Lewison of Adams, Gary (Annie) Lewison of Rose Creek, Mary Lewison of Austin, James (Patty) Lewison of Lake City, Sherry (Brian) Shotanus of Adams, and Jeff (Julie) Lewison of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 7th at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Reverend Scott Meyer officiating. Visitation will be on Friday morning one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
