Home and Vacation show set for today

With the invasion of Iraq on the minds of many, there's opportunities to head out this weekend and enjoy the opportunities that are available in and around the Austin area.
This weekend's highlight is the 29th annual Austin Home and Vacation Show which takes place today, Saturday and Sunday at Riverside Arena. The show will be open today from noon to 8 p.m., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. There is no charge for parking or admission to the event.
Tonight, the Augsburg College choir is set to perform at 7 p.m. at St. Augustine Church. There is no charge for admission.
Saturday, there will be a barbeque pork benefit for Jeff Witt, who was a victim in a farming accident. The benefit will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Blooming Prairie Servicemen's Club.
Also on Saturday, the Habitat For Humanity-Freeborn Mower affiliate hosts at 10 a.m. meeting for prospective homebuyers at the Austin Public Library.
And on Sunday, Our Lady Of Loretto Church hosts a meatball dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets, which are available at the door, are $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. For carry-out orders, call 567-2323.
