Trinity of River Ridge played better than the seventh-seeding it got, eliminating No. 10-seeded Lyle/Pacelli, 58-33, in West Sub-Section 1A girls' basketball play Tuesday night in Blooming Prairie.

L/P got a team-high 12 points from Louise Mudra, who is one of four returning starters for next year. The team finished the season 6-18 overall.

"We did everything they did, they just did it a little better," L/P first-year coach Craig Smith said. "They always found a way."

Trinity had two players in double figures and a strong outside shooting presence.

L/P's Anna Hebrink was held to just two points.
