The depth of the Austin's boys swimming team kept them in their Thursday match against Mankato East at the University of Minnesota-Mankato.

However, the Packers ended up being edged by Mankato East, 95-89.

Beau Webber and Erik Sherman recorded first-place finishes at the event. Webber won the diving portion, while Sherman was tops in the 100 butterfly.

The Packers, now 4-3 overall and 4-3 in the Big 9 Conference, will travel to the Red Wing Invitational for a 10 a.m. Saturday meet.
