Arden D. Nelson, 80, of Maple Grove, Minn., passed away June 26, 2011, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minn.

Arden was born May 16, 1931, in Rose Creek, Minn., to Helmer and Ronelia Nelson.

He is preceded in death by parents; brother, Dale; sisters-in-law, Elaine and Mary Ann.

He is survived by wife, Diane; daughters, Cindy Nelson and Karen Senich (Michael Sr.); son, Joel (Rosemary); grandchildren, Michael Jr., Alexander and Guinevere; brothers, Merle and Roger (Barbara); nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Rd. 101, Maple Grove with visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment will be at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Cemetery.
