La Crescent sweeps Hayfield baseball team

The Hayfield baseball team (1-5 overall) dropped its fifth straight game after being swept by La Crescent (5-1 overall) in a doubleheader by scores of 10-4 and 5-2 in Hayfield Tuesday.
“They’re real good and they threw seven different pitchers at us,” Hayfield head coach Craig Selk said of La Crescent — which scored four unearned runs in the first inning of the nightcap.
