Austin police made an early Sunday morning traffic stop and arrested two people for drug violations.
According to an Austin Police Department report, an officer observed Rebecca Charlson, 26 of Austin, driving a vehicle.
Charlson was wanted on a warrant for violating conditions of release.
A Mower County Sheriff's Office deputy and his canine partner assisted the Austin police in searching the vehicle and its driver and passenger.
Charlson and a companion, Lloyd Edwin Miller, 24 of Austin, were arrested at the scene after the search revealed a quantity of individually packaged marijuana and methamphetamine drugs, plus both pot and meth drug paraphernalia.
The pair appeared in Mower County Third Judicial District Court Monday morning on the charges and were returned to the Mower County Jail.
